This post will get into the events of the Diadochi, the generals that succeeded Alexander the Great after his premature death.

321BCE: Pirates took advantage of the wars between Alexander the Great’s successors. Trade across the Caspian’s waters was no longer safe.

311BCE: Seleucus I returned to Babylonia as Satrap. He immediately organized a navy and put an end to piracy in the Caspian Sea.

310BCE: Seleucus I conquered Cecilia and Jeutontic. Fearful of Absyrtus’s magic powers he sent gifts to the undead king and established a peaceful trade relationship with Colchis.

308BCE: Seleucus I led an invasion of Aractrash. King Alfo III of Mars’ Oasis defended his kingdom. A fierce battle left many dead. Both sides erected victory monuments which became the de facto border demarcation.

280BCE: The Pointed Hats went to Antiochus I for patronage. They wanted funding in exchange for putting their magical powers at his disposal. Antiochus agreed. The Pointed Hats used their funding to research methods to purify the eldritch horrors in Eastern Cimmeria.

274BCE: The Pointed Hats discovered that by crossbreeding Aractrashan Jungle trees with the expanding trees of Bigby’s Forest resulted in something that released a pollen poisonous only to the eldritch horrors. Pointed Hat druids set to breeding and enchanting the trees of Aractrash.

269BCE: The Pointed Hats declared Aractrash free of corruption. Antiochus I approved colonization of the Jungle. The Pointed Hats moved their base from Babylonia to Aractrash. They aided the colonization effort, but their primary focus remained on the eldritch horrors in Eastern Cimmeria.

87 – Adapted Azeroth D&D (Flare and Akridon) Setting the Stage, Campaigns for D&D and Other RPGs

Flare talks with us about his campaign world, Akridon. Three continents dominate the world, Tyros for humanoid races and Dusklands for bestial races. The third continent is known as the Scourge, having being destroyed in a cataclysmic war centuries ago. The world draws a lot of inspiration from the World of Warcraft setup with duality featuring in the continents, the racial appearance, and the gods of the world. And just like in WoW, the two sides often need to team up against larger threats that appear.Flare has a Google Doc with more information about Akridon if you're interested!Vote in the CRIT Awards!
