The Cimmerian Pointed Hats finished off the eldritch horror threat created by Barakah. Meanwhile the Parthians worked hard on replacing the Seleucids as masters of Persia.

250BCE: Antiochus II of the Seleucid Empire constantly led campaigns against the other Hellene states in the west. His distracted focus allowed pirates to reemerge as a serious force in the Caspian. Aractrash and other Indian satrapies revolted. Warlords vied for control of Aractrash.

248BCE: Absyrtus conquered Cecilia and Jeutontic for the Colchian Kingdom.

247BCE: Arasces I of the Parni tribe defeated all other challengers for control of Aractrash. He crowned himself king of the new kingdom, Parthia.

212BCE: Antiochus III led a resurgence of the Seleucid Empire. He conquered lands south and west of the Caspian that had been absorbed by Colchis.

209BCE: Antiochus III attacked Parthia. He took the capital of Hecatompylos. Arasces II surrendered and became a King under Antiochus III’s rule.

190BCE: The Pointed Hats succeeded in gaining a foothold in the Orclands. Eldritch horrors were slain everywhere they were found. Orc villages were reestablished with teleportation stones to organize a Pointed Hat response if the horrors attacked in large numbers.

177BCE: King Oglamar rose to rule the cleansed Orclands. Thankful to the Pointed Hats he promised to assist them in purifying the Shacklack Desert.

176BCE: Phraates I of Parthia inherited the throne and declared his independence from Seleucid Persia.

175BCE: Seleucus IV of Persia organized a response to Parthia’s independence but was assassinated before he could carry out his plans.

163BCE: Orc attacks on the Shacklack Desert horrors sent them fleeing over the Dominarie Mountains into Parthia. King Mithridates I of Parthia fought to defend his kingdom from the abominations.

161BCE: Seleucid Persia was embroiled in wars with the Roman Empire. Absyrtus took advantage of their weakness to reclaim Jeutontic and Cecilia.

155BCE: The waves of eldritch horrors coming over the Dominarie Mountains finally ceased. The orcs had almost eliminated the vile species. Any remnants went into hiding underground.

Welcome to the GoCorral website! I’m Isaac Shaker and this is a place for me to write about D&D and occasionally other topics. I host a podcast called Setting the Stage that interviews different DMs about their campaigns. I’m currently focused on completing the Cimmeria campaign setting and turning it into a book.

79 – Dragon Age Degenerates (Zoe from Degenerates with Dice) Setting the Stage, Campaigns for D&D and Other RPGs

Zoe tells us about her campaign in the world of Thedas from the Dragon Age video games. The campaign is an actual play on the Degenerates with Dice YouTube channel. Zoe uses the Dragon Age TTRPG published by Green Ronin. In the campaign, a pair of noble twins are cut out of their family's inheritance. They must go on adventure to make things right and earn their birthright. Lots of fun and definitely more of a beer and pretzels vibe to the table. If you want to watch the Degenerates with Dice show they are live every Monday night on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@degenerateswithdiceOr on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/degenerateswithdiceThe first episode of Dragon Age: Resurrection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJCn4g0oafMTake a look at Green Ronin's Dragon Age TTRPG: https://greenroninstore.com/collections/dragon-age-rpgOur website: https://gocorral.com/stsWant to be on the show?
