Demetrius was an eager young knight in the Rebellion against Xoria. He grew up listening to stories about heroes righting wrongs and bringing justice to an unjust land. All around in Xoria was injustice, but those who stood up to the dragovinians were murdered. The only path to glory was in secrecy. Demetrius would play the hero he dreamed of being, even if he had to do so as quietly as possible. He apprenticed himself to a stable master to learn how to ride and fight on horseback during his free moments. When he came of age he joined the Rebellion as a messenger.
Demetrius performed well and earned a position of trust within the Rebellion. As the Rebels consolidated their forces for the attack on Gazeara fewer messengers were needed. Major Dactirian relieved Demetrius of his regular duties and sent him after the revived dragovinians to ensure their success. The young soldier was happy for this assignment. Outside of Xoria and on his own he could be the hero he’d always dreamed of being.
Demetrius played a small but crucial role in reclaiming the Druid’s Prophecy. When the final piece was revealed the Dahak attempted to stop the revived dragovinians from escaping. Demetrius distracted the demon monster long enough for its offensive magic to expire. Additionally when the revived dragovinians were unwilling to continue working with Dactirian, Demetrius was the messenger once again would delivered the final piece of the prophecy to his superior.
After the Second Alliance War Demetrius left the army. He wandered the lands of the Xorian Empire on horseback, enforcing peace and justice with his sword or with his cheery disposition.
