One of the guests, Nathan Bruha, that came on the Setting the Stage podcast has launched a Kickstarter for his book, The Amethyst Dragon’s Hoard of Everything. Nathan’s episode talked about his world, Aenea. He created the world as a kid. When he got older he created a massive mod for Neverwinter Nights to run a living campaign in Aenea. Sadly, the server running the mod died with no way to recover it.

Nathan has continued to work on Aenea since then with mountains of content on his website. He has now compiled the choicest bits of that content into a 575 page book that is overflowing with content for a 5e D&D campaign. I’d like you all the check it out and see what it has to offer. Pledge some money to the Kickstarter and get Nathan’s book published!

The Kickstarter can be found here by following this link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/theamethystdragon/the-amethyst-dragons-hoard-of-everything

Nathan was featured on Episode 14 if you want to give it another listen.

I’m Isaac

Welcome to the GoCorral website! I’m Isaac Shaker and this is a place for me to write about D&D and occasionally other topics. I host a podcast called Setting the Stage that interviews different DMs about their campaigns. I’m currently focused on completing the Cimmeria campaign setting and turning it into a book.

87 – Adapted Azeroth D&D (Flare and Akridon) Setting the Stage, Campaigns for D&D and Other RPGs

Flare talks with us about his campaign world, Akridon. Three continents dominate the world, Tyros for humanoid races and Dusklands for bestial races. The third continent is known as the Scourge, having being destroyed in a cataclysmic war centuries ago. The world draws a lot of inspiration from the World of Warcraft setup with duality featuring in the continents, the racial appearance, and the gods of the world. And just like in WoW, the two sides often need to team up against larger threats that appear.Flare has a Google Doc with more information about Akridon if you're interested!Vote in the CRIT Awards!
