Previous: Cimmerian Timeline Part 56

We’ve arrived at the end of the Cimmerian Timeline posts! Just a little bit of housekeeping for events from the goblin cities’ history that I cared enough to put dates to. This should cover it for the important dates in Cimmeria. Woo! Next up I’ll do some touching up for the cities pages and maybe a slight restructuring of the time period splits for the timeline. I’d also like to write a Condensed Timeline page like what I did for Gurutama.

1149BCE: Poseidon and the goblin god, Crayfish, fought in Lake Astacol. Their divine battle split the earth and the Long Pearl River in two. Tomak’nax split into two cities as well.

1142BCE: Sadroston and the Phoenix engaged in a fight along the Long River. The Phoenix’s fire melted the ground along a section of the river into arcane glass.

1069BCE: The goblins of Tomak’nax built the Cableway to reconnect the twin cities.

413BCE: Barghests attacked Yuggnod and took control of the city.

410BCE: Skortwist the Bandit became the magistrate of Untalpid.

Back to the Beginning!

[…] it’s been kind of behind the scenes stuff. I wrote the condensed timeline that I mentioned in my last timeline blog post. Now that I had a whole picture I updated the timeline eras to better reflect the splits in time […]

Welcome to the GoCorral website! I’m Isaac Shaker and this is a place for me to write about D&D and occasionally other topics. I host a podcast called Setting the Stage that interviews different DMs about their campaigns. I’m currently focused on completing the Cimmeria campaign setting and turning it into a book.

73 – Duncan and Extraordinary Locations Setting the Stage, Campaigns for D&D and Other RPGs

Duncan Rhodes comes on the show to talk about his new book, The Creative Game Master's Guide to Extraordinary Locations: & How to Design Them or just Extraordinary Locations. The book is filled with 30 adventure locations to drop into your campaign, modify, or use as a full adventure path! The locations are loosely stated out for D&D 5e but could easily be adapted for any fantasy system. Additionally, the book has a step-wise guide for crafting your own adventures based around locations just like those in the book.To follow Duncan's blog postings you can check out Hipsters & Dragons: https://www.hipstersanddragons.com/And his book, The Creative Game Master's Guide to Extraordinary Locations: & How to Design Them, is available on Amazon and most likely at your local book or game stores: https://www.amazon.com/Creative-Masters-Guide-Extraordinary-Locations/dp/1965636306Our website: https://gocorral.com/stsWant to be on the show?
