Background: Cursed

You were cursed. Perhaps a hag with a grudge against your family cursed you as a child. Or you committed a despicable wrong against a powerful enchanter. Maybe you even angered the gods themselves. No matter the reason, you suffer under a terrible curse. You are on the hunt for the cure, having tried many remedies with no success.

This is a special background that should be discussed with your DM before choosing. The nature of your curse is something both of you should agree on. How to cure it is up to your DM. Your character may already know the cure, but must perform some difficult act or find a rare reagent. Alternatively, your character may still be on the hunt for a method to end their curse.
